Hydrophonic Systems
Hydroponic System has been developed for growing vegetables and green leaves onboard ships travelling at sea. This equipment has been designed in accordance to Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) Title 3, Standard A3.2 – Food & Catering, Section 2. It complies with IMO technical specifications, including vibration and shock tests. A maximum of 160 vegetables can be grown on a single cultivation system. The system is fully automated with no need for manual intervention during growing.
