PistonFire II
The IEP Technologies PistonFire II Suppressor is a high-rate discharge suppressor designed for explosion suppression and flame propagation mitigation in industrial process equipment and interconnected duct systems. The suppressor rapidly discharges suppressant into protected areas within milliseconds after receiving an actuation signal from the explosion protection control system.
Product description
The unit consists of a pressurized suppressant storage cylinder and a corrosion-resistant valve body housed within a dust-ignition proof and weatherproof NEMA enclosure. The enclosure contains the actuating mechanism, pressure monitoring components, lockout/tagout provisions, and field wiring connections for continuous operational supervision and safe maintenance procedures.
The PistonFire II Suppressor is designed for hazardous industrial environments and supports fast installation, field reconditioning, and long-term operational reliability.
