IVE Flameless Explosion Vent
The IVE Flameless Explosion Vent is designed for explosion protection of process equipment such as bucket elevators installed indoors or in locations where standard explosion venting cannot be safely used. It combines pressure relief with flame arresting technology to safely vent explosion pressure while preventing flame release into the surrounding area.
Description
During an explosion event, the vent opens and directs gases through a flame arresting mesh element, which cools the hot gases and extinguishes the flame before discharge. The system includes a burst detection sensor to indicate activation and support operational response.
