EVN Flameless Vent
The EVN Flameless Vent is designed for explosion protection in process vessels located indoors or in areas where standard explosion venting cannot be safely used. It combines a pressure relief vent with an integrated flame arrester that cools and extinguishes combustion gases during an explosion event, preventing flame release into the surrounding environment.
Description
During an explosion, the vent opens at low pressure and directs the explosion through the flame arresting element, which absorbs heat and suppresses flames. The system then reseals after discharge, helping reduce the risk of secondary fires or explosions.
