E-Suppressor
The IEP Technologies eSUPPRESSOR™ is a high-rate discharge suppressor designed for explosion suppression and explosion isolation systems in industrial process environments. The unit utilizes an electromechanical activation system that eliminates the need for pyrotechnic devices, improving operational safety while reducing storage, transportation, and licensing requirements.
Product description
Upon detection of an explosion event, the Explosion Protection Control Unit sends an actuation signal to the eSUPPRESSOR™ valve mechanism. The high-speed trigger mechanism opens the valve flap in less than 10 milliseconds, enabling rapid suppressant discharge into the protected equipment or process volume.
The eSUPPRESSOR™ features continuous monitoring of all safety functions, integrated status indication, and SIL2 third-party certification for enhanced system reliability and operational monitoring.
